Honey Nut Biscuits

Ingredients:
  • 170 g honey
  • 120 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g shortening
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 250 g sifted flour
  • 150 g walnuts or hazelnuts
Preparation:

Cream the honey, the brown sugar and the shortening. Add the egg and beat well. Sift the flour and add the nuts. Mix and shape into long rolls about 2" diameter. Cover with foil and chill overnight. Slice thinly and bake in the hot oven at 400° C for 10-15 minutes.



Biscuiti cu miere si nuci

Ingrediente:
  • 170 g miere
  • 120 g zahar brun
  • 1 ou
  • 200 g unt sau margarina
  • 1 linguruta de esenta de vanilie
  • 250 g faina
  • 150 g nuci sau alune de padure
Mod de preparare:
Amestecati mierea, zaharul si margarina/untul pana se omogenizeaza. Adaugati oul si amestecati bine. Puneti si faina, iar apoi nucile. Impartiti aluatul in rulouri. Lasati aluatul sa se raceasca in frigider peste noapte. Dupa aceea, taiati-l in bucati subtiri si coaceti in cuptor pentru 10 - 15 minute la 400° C.
